UAC Names Four Lumberjacks to Preseason All-Conference Team

The United Athletic Conference announced its 2023 UAC Football Preseason Honors and Awards. SFA had four Lumberjacks receive preseason honors.
Chad Aune and Keegan Holm represented SFA on the offensive side. Jeremiah Walker was the sole Lumberjack selected to the defensive team. The UAC selected Chris Campos to represent the conference as the sole kicker on the specialist team.
#82 TE Chad Aune:
Aune is entering his fifth season with the Lumberjacks. Last season Aune played in 11 games accumulating 11 receptions for 117 yards and was named to the All-WAC First team at the end of the season.
#66 LT Keegan Holm:
Holm is entering his fifth season with the Lumberjacks. Last season Holm played in nine games and helped the Lumberjacks to 1,739 total rushing yards and 2,908 total passing yards. He was also named to the All-WAC First Team.
#5 S Jeremiah Walker:
Walker is entering his fourth season with the Lumberjacks. In 2022 Walker played in all 11 games accumulating 34 total tackles and nine pass breakups. He was also named to the All-WAC Second Team.
#13 K Chris Campos:
Campos is entering his fourth season with the Lumberjacks. Last season Campos played in 11 games going 18-24 on field goals totaling 97 points. He was also named to the All-WAC First Team.
The Lumberjacks will travel to Troy, AL to open their season against Troy University, on September 2nd at 6:00 p.m. SFA's first home game will come against Alcorn State University, on September 9th at 6:00 p.m.
