SFA Soccer receives the 2022-23 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – SFA Soccer joins 807 teams as apart of the United Soccer Coaches 2022-23College Team Academic Award.
Announced on Wednesday the College Team Academic Award winners are recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.
A total of 807 soccer teams (311 men, 496 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. SFA Soccer finished last year with a 3.38 Overall GPA.
Head Coach Tony Minatta is extremely proud of the Lumberjacks effort in the classroom. "The team academic award presented by United Soccer Coaches shows our athletes commitment to the classroom and ensuring that they are pursuing excellence in all areas of their collegiate student athlete endeavor. United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
