Ladyjacks Compete Against Rome All-Stars

ROME, Italy- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program made their second stop of the Italy tour in Rome.
The 'Jacks headed from Florence to Rome for the second stop of the tour. They made a quick pit stop in Orvieto to do some more exploring. In Rome, they went to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter's Basilica before playing against the Rome All-Star team.
On the court, Avery Vansickle led the team with 21 points. Four other Ladyjacks joined Vansickle in recording double-digit performances; Kurstyn Harden (15), Destini Lombard (13), Tyler McCliment-Call (11), and Mele Finau (11). Atalia Ballesteros and Zoe Nelson also scored nine and seven points, respectively.
Tomorrow, August 11th the Ladyjacks will play their final game of the Italy tour in Angri against Italy Select.
