Ladyjacks Advance to Day Two of the Pittsburgh Regional

PITTSBURGH, PA - SFA advances to the second day of the Pittsburgh Regional.
The Ladyjacks are taking the long road in having a shot at winning the region. Falling to #11 Duquesne in the first round matchup, SFA bounced back winning 2-1 in the Mega-Match format against Mercyhurst.

How It Happened
The Ladyjacks started out slow in the morning rounds. Making some substitutions got a little momentum going, but things fully didn't change until the Mercyhurst matchup. During the second Baker Match, in true Ladyjack fashion, SFA hit a second wind. After bowling in the 800's the first three match's on the day, the team rolled a 1,121, their third highest Baker total of the season.
Clinching the win, SFA went on to go 4-1 in the final best-of-seven match to live on in the 2023 NCAA Pittsburgh Regional.
