
Debbie Humphreys Named AVCA Southwest Region Coach of the Year and Ielan Bradley Earned AVCA Southwest Region Honorable Mention

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Stephen F. Austin's Head Coach Debbie Humphreys was named Southwest Region Coach of the Year and senior right side, Ielan Bradley earned Southwest Region Honorable Mention, the AVCA announced Tuesday morning.
Head Coach Debbie Humphreys earned Southwest Region Coach of the Year after leading SFA to an undefeated conference season for the first time since 2019 and the first in the WAC since New Mexico State in 2019. The 'Jacks captured their first WAC Regular Season Championship. Earlier this season, Coach Humphreys passed 800 career wins which makes her the 17th coach to do so. She is one of four active coaches with 800 wins and one of two active coaches to earn 800 wins at one institution.
Ielan Bradley continued to add to her accolades this season by earning a spot on the Southwest Region Honorable Mention Team. She earned WAC Player of the Year and a spot on the All-WAC First Team after leading the Ladyjack offense with 371 kills, averages 3.47 kills per set, and recorded a .326 hitting clip. She is also a weapon on the net as she is second on the team with 98 blocks. Bradley earned WAC Player of the Week honors four times this season and was named MVP of the SFA Tournament earlier this season. She was the second Ladyjack to record her 1,000th career point and achieved her 1,000th career kill on Senior Day against Utah Valley. In SFA's match against Tulsa earlier this season, she set a career-high with 25 kills in a single match and did so without committing a single attack error.
