
Kyla Deck Named WAC Player of the Week

ARLINGTON, Texas- Stephen F. Austin sophomore guard, Kyla Deck was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Deck scored 48 points in SFA's wins over Tarleton and ACU. She scored 24 points in both games which is a new career-high for her. In the game against Tarleton Deck knocked down six three-pointers which is the most she has made in a single game and tied for seventh most in program history. Against ACU she recorded her first double-double of the season scoring 24 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. In addition to the 48 points Deck scored she grabbed 14 rebounds, and recorded seven assists. Overall she shot 53.8 percent from the field (14-26) and from behind the arc (7-13), as well as 68.4 percent from the free throw line (13-19).
