
Lumberjacks Wrap up Non-Conference Against New Orleans

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks will face the New Orleans Privateers Friday, December 29th at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. CT. Friday's game will be the last non-conference game for the Lumberjacks this season. SFA has won two straight games and enters the contest with a 7-5 overall record. The Lumberjacks are coming off a 115-58 win over the Paul Quinn Tigers. The Privateers enter the matchup with a 5-7 overall mark with a 1-6 road record.
Series History:
This will be the 12th matchup between Stephen F. Austin and New Orleans. SFA is 9-2 in the series' history. The Lumberjacks took the most previous contest between the two teams as they won 89-79 on February 15, 2021. Stephen F. Austin has won the last four meetings and holds a 5-0 record at the William R.
