A look at the Lumberjacks:

SFA comes into this game looking to continue their hot start to the year after beating North American University 96-68 in the season opener at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. In that game, 14 SFA players took part in the victory and 12 scored in the win. Kimahri Wilson I his first NCAA Division I game had a very efficient start to the season, notching 13 points on 4-for-6 from the field, 1-for-3 from three-point range, and a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. He also notched five steals and five assists as he did a little bit of everything in the game.

Sadaidriene Hall picked up right where he left off last season, as he recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal to lead the Jacks once again. Nana Antwi-Boasiako and Latrell Jossell also scored double-digit points. They shot a combined 20-for-39 (51.3%) from the field and 5-for-14 (35.71%) from three-point range. SFA out rebounded the Stallions 45-24 and forced 27 turnovers as they were flying to the ball on defense. The Lumberjacks will try and continue that stellar start on both offense and defense in their matchup against Middle Tennessee State University.
A look at the Blue Raiders:

Middle Tennessee State enters this matchup with SFA on a high note after winning their opening game vs Northern Kentucky 74-57. They are led by Camryn Weston and Elias King, who each scored 14 points in their season opening win. Weston was second on the squad in scoring last season while King was fourth. Justin Bufford and Jacob Johnson also scored double-digit points in the victory, and they racked up 10 steals and four blocks as a team. They weren't the most efficient from the field on the night, only shooting 25-59 (42.4%), but they shot it well from three, going 10-27 (37%). Six players made a three-point shot in the win, as King led the team with four triples. They'll look to keep up that hot shooting from behind the arc on Thursday night against the Lumberjacks.
