SFA Bowling heads to Florida for the Sunshine State Classic as returning champs

The three-day tournament is being held at AMF Sky Lanes in Orlando, Fl., and Sacred Heart is serving as the host.

Format and Schedule
The Sunshine State Classic will follow the standard 13-match rotation this weekend at AMF Sky Lanes. There will be five Baker matches on Friday beginning at 9:25 AM ET and total pinfall will determine the winners of each head-to-head match. Five traditional matches will follow on Saturday starting at 8:25 AM ET with pinfall again determining the winners. The total pins from the first 10 matches of the tournament will determine seeding for bracket play on Sunday, which begins at 8:25 AM ET. The bracket matches will be contested in a best-of-seven Baker format.
Friday, 9:25 AM - Five Baker matches
Saturday, 8:25 AM - Five traditional matches
Sunday, 8:25 AM - Three best-of-seven Baker matches
SFA will get their first look at the majority of the Conference USA teams this weekend as six of the conference's nine teams will be in action. The Ladyjacks bowled against #22 Tulane, #10 LA Tech, and #8 Sam Houston last week at the Colonial Lanes Classic. SFA will see #1 Vanderbilt, #6 Youngstown, #7 Jacksonville State and #22 Tulane this week in Orlando.
In addition to the high-ranking Conference USA teams, the Sunshine State Classic will also feature #11 Duquesne, #15 Fairleigh Dickinson, #17 Sacred Heart and #23 Delaware State in its 18-team field.
