COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin's cross country team will travel to College Station, Texas on October 13th to take part in the Arturo Barrios Invitational. The meet will get started Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
The Lumberjack squad is coming off last week's Chile Pepper XC Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The men's squad finished 23rd out of the 30 team field and the women finished 25th out of the 34 team field.
After their team leading performances last week, Wyatt Hoover and Tereza Lukasova will look to lead the Lumberjack squad in College Station this week.
Both the men and women's teams will look to match their strong finish at last year's Arturo Barrios invitational. The women placed 18th out of the 42 team field and the men finished 16th out of the 40 team field.
This will be the Lumberjacks final opportunity to get conditioned and prepared for the WAC Championship on October 27th in Abilene, Texas.
