Ladyjacks Earn First Win of the 2022 Season In Shutout Against PVAMU

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Soccer program traveled to Prairie View for a matchup with the Lady Panthers of Prairie View A&M. Lily Hargrove scored her first two goals of the season and led SFA to a 3-0 victory.
The first goal was scored in the 2nd minute after Mattie Musser passed it into Lily Hargrove who put it in the back of the net. Lily Hargrove's second goal was scored in the 11th minute off of a corner kick from Reaganne Crane. The third and final goal of the game came off of the foot of Mariona Garcia Dalmases from the endline and it curved into the top left of the net over the goalie.
Lily Hargrove led the team with two goals and three shots and Mariona Garcia Dalmases recorded one goal and one shot. Reaganne Crane and Mattie Musser each recorded an assist, Reaganne Crane and Jayme Bailey each recorded two shots. Goalkeeper Koral Hughes recorded one save during her first career complete game shutout. The Ladyjacks led the Lady Panthers in shots (17-5) and corner kicks (8-2).
The Ladyjacks will be at home for their first game of the 2022 season at the Chopping Block on Sunday, August 28th at 1 p.m. as they face off against North Texas.
