Bowling Begins Quest for 3rd National Championship

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin bowling team begins its quest for its 3rd national championship in the Arlington Regional.
The No. 4 seed Ladyjacks match-up with No. 1 seed Sam Houston. The two programs meet Saturday at 9 a.m.

SFA has won two national championships, winning in 2019 and 2016. The Ladyjacks also qualified for the NCAA tournament in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
The Ladyjacks earned an at-large bid to the dance after a successful regular season with eight top-five finishes in tournaments this season. SFA holds a 63-40 record and sits in second in the league in overall spare percentage (71.53), third in team scoring average (20.124), team fill percentage (85.41) and fifth in team strike percentage (48.75).
