
SFA Set for NCAA Bowling Final 4

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Stephen F. Austin bowling team is set to compete for its third national championship at the 2022 NCAA Bowling Championship April 15-16 at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl.
The Ladyjacks won NCAA titles in 2016 and 2019.
SFA will open play in the double-elimination Final Four at 8 a.m. Central on Friday, April 15 against top-ranked and Erie Regional winner McKendree. The other match-up at the Final Four on Friday at 8 a.m. Central will pair Rochester Regional winner Fairleigh Dickinson facing No. 2 seeded and fourth-ranked Vanderbilt, who was the champion of the Lansing Regional.
All matches (except the national championship match) of the NCAA Final Four will be live streamed on NCAA.com, except for the championship match on Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m. CT, which will be broadcast live on television on ESPNU.
Tickets are $40 for all sessions. Fans can get $5 off online tickets with the promo code TURKEYTIME at checkout for online tickets only through Thursday.
All matches at the National Collegiate Championships Final Four, except for the national championship match, will feature a mega-match format consisting of a five-person traditional game, a five-game Baker total pinfall and if necessary, a best-of-seven Baker match play. The best-of-seven match play is only needed if the teams are tied after the five-game Baker total pinfall as the winning team needs to win two of the three events the mega-match event to win the match. The national championship final will feature just a best-of-seven Baker format to determine the national champion.
