LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Abilene Christian defeated Stephen F. Austin 76-62 in the quarterfinals of the 2022 WAC Tournament.
Gavin Kensmil scored a team-high 15 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the field. The senior also went 7-for-8 at the free-throw line and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
David Kachelries dropped nine points on 3-for-6 shooting from the floor and Jaylin Jackson-Posey also added nine points.
Derrick Tezeno scored seven points and Nana Antwi-Boasiako added six points.
The Lumberjacks now await postseason play.
