Lumberjacks Fall Short in Opening Round of CBI

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – UNC Asheville defeated Stephen F. Austin 80-68 in the opening round of the College Basketball Invitational.
The Lumberjacks conclude their season with a 22-10 mark and the WAC Regular Season Champions.
Gavin Kensmil scored 13 points and hauled in seven rebounds. Kensmil also handed out three assists and recorded a steal.
Sadaidriene Hall came off the bench and dropped 13 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field.
Nigel Hawkins scored 12 points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field – including 2-for-2 from beyond the arc. Latrell Jossell helped out with 10 points.
As a team, SFA shot 45.8 percent (27-for-59) from the field and scored 46 points in the paint.
The Jacks forced the Bulldogs into 21 turnovers which was turned into 20 points.
