
Former Lumberjack Cameron Johnson Signs Professional Contract with Apollon Limassol of Cypriot League

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Former Lumberjack men's basketball star Cameron Johnson has inked a professional contract to play for Apollon Limassol of the Cypriot League. Apollon is a team based in Limassol, Cyprus, and competes in Division A of the Cypriot Basketball League.
Johnson, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, played two seasons in Nacogdoches and became a fan favorite in addition to a vital cog in SFA's success over the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns. The 'Jacks posted a 44-8 record overall and 21-4 mark n league play over those two seasons, and would claim the 2020 Southland Conference regular season title as well. Johnson amassed 675 points over his two seasons in Nacogdoches and was a Southland All-Conference selection in 2020-21.
