MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina --
Both the men's and women's golf teams competed at the Golfweek Spring Invitational this week, as the men came back with an eighth place finish. Steven Fabik led the 'Jacks on the leader board tying for 14th (72-70-72-214, -2), as SFA finished with a team score of 294-292-294-880, +16).
Other Lumberjacks in the top 50 consisted of Justin Benson (T-38th, 70-78-74-222, +6), Isiah Henderson (43rd, 81-70-74-225, +9), Jake Smelser (T-44th, 77-75-74-226, +9), and Maxime Leclerc (75-77-75-227, +11).
The 'Jacks will head to Sam Houston to compete in the Bearkat Invitational on April 12th and 13th in Huntsville.
