Colleen Feagins Selected as Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas -- The Southland Conference released its weekly soccer awards for Week Nine of the season, with sophomore Colleen Feagins earning Offensive Player of the Week honors for her performance this week. Feagins, a Kingswood native, scored three goals to lead SFA to a pair of SLC victories that vaulted them into first place in the league standings entering the final week of conference play.
Feagins netted her first three goals of the season in the weekend victories over Lamar and McNeese, a pair of 2-1 victories for SFA. In Thursday tilt with league-leading Lamar, Feagins scored just one minute into the game to give SFA the lead in a game they would go on to win by a 2-1 score. In Saturday's contest against McNeese, Feagins netted the equalizer in the game's 19th minute and scored again just four minutes later to put SFA ahead for good.
