NACOGDOCHES, Texas – SFA basketball head coach Kyle Keller announced on Thursday the signing of transfer Sadaidriene "DayDay" Hall, a 6-5 forward out of East Tennessee State, to join the program ahead of the 2021-22 campaign. Hall was a mid-year enrollee at ETSU after playing for Link Year Prep in the fall semester.
"DayDay is a player we have followed and watched grow from an early age", said Keller. "He is a very multi-dimensional player that is a true winner. He truly fits the Lumberjack culture. We are all so very excited about his decision to join our family. He adds character, toughness, talent and ability to score at the rim and exhibits a constantly improving perimeter game."
A Sulphur Springs, Texas native, Hall was an all-state performer at Sulphur Springs HS, where he set the school record for rebounds, steals and assists while netting over 1300 points in his prep career. He averaged 16 points and 12 rebounds per game at SPHS, guiding them to a 29-9 record and first ever state tournament appearance.
Hall set single game highs of 38 points and 22 rebounds in a single game during his high school career, and was ranked No. 32 among 2020 players in the state of Texas by TexasBoysBasketball.com and No. 35 by Rivals.com.
