
Ladyjacks Down Bearkats in Four To Clinch Share of SLC Regular Season Title

HUNTSVILLE, Texas --
The SFA Ladyjacks (22-5, 10-1) traveled to Sam Houston (9-2) on Thursday for not only a traditional conference showdown, but for a chance to clinch a share of the Southland Conference regular season title. The 'Jacks completed the quest on the road, 3-1 (25-17, 26-24, 10-25, 25-18) for its fourth consecutive regular season crown.
CURRENT STANDINGS SITUATION
The Bearkats, the Ladyjacks and the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions sit at No. 1, 2 and 3 in the Southland Conference standings, each with one regular season game left to play. SHSU and SELU each have two losses in conference play, which puts SFA in the position to win the regular season outright with a victory against Houston Baptist on Saturday at Shelton Gymnasium.
