Lumberjacks' Unbeaten Run Earns United Soccer Coaches Ranking

United Soccer Coaches Release
The United Soccer Coaches Poll recognized the SFA Soccer team as the 10th best team in the Pacific Region on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks, coming off of seven straight victories to open conference play, currently find themselves top of the WAC Southwest Division with 21 points and have already clinched a spot to the WAC tournament next month.
The 'Jacks have outscored conference opponents 20-3 this season and have yet to allow a multi-goal game. The recent late win over Lamar extended the lead of the Southwest Division to eight points. A win or a draw in final three games will be enough to clinch first place in the division and a bye to the semifinals in the conference tournament.
The final three games of the season for SFA will be on the road against Chicago State (10/22), Abilene Christian (10/24) and Sam Houston State (10/30). The 'Jacks defeated the three remaining opponents by a margin of 14-1 in the reverse fixtures.
