Hadrien Choukroun Promoted to Associate Head Coach

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – SFA assistant coach for Track and Field Hadrien Choukroun has been promoted to Associate Head Coach, per an announcement from Director of Track and Field Phil Olson. Choukroun has been with the program since his initial hire as an assistant coach in September of 2018, and handles a myriad of duties on staff including coaching jumps, multis, sprints hurdles and relays.
A native of Paris, France, Choukroun steps into the new role as Associate Head Coach after doing his part to continue to elevate the track and field program at SFA. The 'Jacks had a banner year in 2020-21, claiming three of the four league titles between the men's and women's teams, including a sweep of the men's conference titles. SFA also experienced new success on the national level, as ten athletes earned All-American recognition at the NCAA championships in June, including a runner-up finish in the men's 4x400 relay by Choukroun's relay team.

This promotion shows that we both feel the same way about the team work we have been doing at SFA.
