Termini and Talbot Represent SFA Soccer on Southland Preseason All-Conference Teams

FRISCO, Texas -- The Southland Conference announced on Wednesday afternoon the 2021 Preseason All-Conference Teams ahead of upcoming 2021 spring season of soccer. Senior Katelyn Termini and Madeline Talbot represented Lumberjack Soccer on the First and Second Teams, respectively, mirroring their selection as All-Conference performers at the end of the Fall 2020 season.
Termini, a native of Frisco, makes her second appearance on the league's Preseason All-Conference Teams, having been named a Second Team honoree heading into the 2019 season. The 5'5 midfielder established herself as one of the league's top attackers in 2019, racking up 11 goals to finish fifth in the league in that category. Playing in an abbreviated non-conference schedule this fall, Termini added four goals in five games to rank third in the league, and enters the spring season with 24 career goals, good for eighth on SFA's all-time career list.
Talbot, a senior goalkeeper, enters the spring with a total of ten shutout victories and has played in over 40 games between the sticks for SFA. After posting an 87.3 save percentage and recording 55 saves in 2019, she was selected to the Southland All-Conference Second Team.
