
Ladyjacks Thrive Over Privateers in Southland Conference Opener, 88-29

NACOGDOCHES, Texas --
The Ladyjacks (9-2, 1-0 SLC) dominated its Southland Conference opener Saturday afternoon with a double-sided victory against New Orleans (3-4, 0-1 SLC), 88-29.
GAME AT FIRST GLANCE
SFA capitalized off of UNO's turnovers to quickly boost a 1st half lead, with 37 of its 52 points coming from the Privateers' mistakes. UNO converted on only two field goals in the first 20 minutes of play, where the visitors shot 11.1 percent (2-18) and scored 11 total points in the half. The second half continued the same trend, as the Ladyjacks limited its opponent to eight field goals on the outing and 18.2 percent shooting.
