
Ladyjack Golf Places Three on WGCA All-American Scholars List

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars for the 2019-20 season were recognized to close out the month of June, per a release from the national office. A total of 1,401 women's golfers were tabbed for the award, including a trio of Ladyjacks. To be selected for the award, athletes needed to pass some of the most stringent academic criteria in all of college athletics, requiring a 3.50 GPA.
Alexandra Batista, Kate Dishman and Kelly Yang were all chosen to represent SFA on the WGCA Scholar All-American Team.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 650 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
