NACOGDOCHES, Texas – In preparation for the 2019 football season, SFA athletics has announced a series of significant changes for all home games. These changes will take effect for the 'Jacks' home opener against Tarleton State on Saturday, Sept. 7, and remain in effect through the 2019 season and beyond.
Reserved Parking
All reserved parking areas are run through the Purple Lights Fund. In addition to new levels of parking made available to season ticket holders and donors, a new flow of traffic will be introduced due to the enforcement and policing of these areas (see parking graphic above). Please note, the only entry way into Level III parking is off Raguet Street. The only vehicles entering and exiting Hayter Street are to be those with Level I or Level II PLF parking access. Each entrance into other lots stemming from Hayter Street will be barricaded to prevent entry.
Access Points
New access points will be set up around Homer Bryce Stadium for each home game. Every fan entering the stadium to watch the Lumberjacks compete will be required to have a ticket and/or credential upon entry. Tickets may be purchased online at SFATickets.com or from the SFA ticket office (936.468.JACK). At these access points, fans with tickets will be scanned in and granted entry into the stadium. You must have a game ticket and/or credential in order to enter the stadium at any level.
Touchdown Club Security
Every member of the Touchdown Club will receive and utilize a season pass credential with scanned entry required for every game. Any additional guests of Touchdown Club members must also have a scanned ticket. Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets for Touchdown Club guests and/or the general public can be purchased at SFATickets.com.
Additional Parking/Tailgating
All fans who have access to reserved parking areas are welcome to tailgate in their respective areas. Fans who do not possess reserved parking spots may park in SFA's commuter lot (the location of which is displayed in the graphic above). Additional tailgating areas located around Hayter St. are available on a first come/first serve basis, but please keep in mind that parking will only be permitted in those areas with the appropriate parking credentials.
'Jack Walk
The SFA football team will enter Homer Bryce Stadium at 3:00 p.m. for their 6:00 p.m. games and at noon for their 3:00 p.m. games through the season. SFA's entrance into Homer Bryce Stadium, the 'Jack Walk, will see the 'Jacks enter at the intersection of Hayter Street and Raguet Street before making their way up Hayter and into the SFA athletics field house.
