SFA scores 40 points off of turnovers in 94-62 win over Paul Quinn

NACOGDOCHES, TX -- The SFA men's basketball team scored 40 points off of turnovers on the way to a 94-62 victory over the Paul Quinn Tigers at home Saturday.
SFA improved to 11-2 overall after the win.
The 'Jacks had four players score in double figures, led by David Kachelries, who had 16 points, four assists and two steals. Cameron Johnson added 15 points off the bench and Kevon Harris helped out with 14 points and four steals.
Led by Charlie Daniels' three offensive rebounds, SFA did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 12 boards that resulted in three second chance points.
SFA did a great job disrupting Paul Quinn shots in the contest, coming away with eight blocks. Daniels' five rejections led the way individually for the 'Jacks.

GAME SUMMARY
After jumping out to a 26-25 advantage, SFA went on a 12-0 run with 4:44 left in the first half, culminating in a bucket from Oddyst Walker, to increase its lead to 38-25. The 'Jacks then maintained that lead and entered halftime with a 42-29 advantage. SFA capitalized on 15 Paul Quinn turnovers in the period, turning them into 23 points on the other end of the floor.
Following intermission, SFA kept widening that lead, expanding it to 71-45 before going on an 8-0 run, finished off by Gavin Kensmil's layup, to grow the lead to 79-45 with 8:35 to go in the contest. The Tigers narrowed the margin somewhat before the game was over, but the 'Jacks still cruised the rest of the way for the 94-62 win. SFA took care of business in the paint, recording 32 of its 52 points in the lane.
