Final Results
LAS CRUCES, N.M - Freshman Sloane Bennett rose seven spots Wednesday to finish in the top 20 of the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational. Bennett shot even on the third and final round to finish 7-over 223 and found herself tied for 16th place.
The Ladyjacks shot their tournament-best on the final day with a 22-over 310 as they finished in 16th place.
Freshman Kate Dishman (20-over 236) and junior Kelly Yang (26-over 242), both competed as individuals for the event, finished tied for 60th and 81st respectively, as senior Alexandra Batista (21-over 237) and freshman Karina Benavides (24-over 240) finished between them.
Senior Paola Cortes (33-over 249) and sophomore Zayda Cedillo (45-over 261) were also a part of the seven-lady squad sent by SFA.
The Ladyjacks will be competing in the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs, Arkansas on October 28.
