Football Shifts Kickoff Time of 2019 Home Finale to 4:00 p.m.

SFA's battle with UIW caps full day of SFA athletics events
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In order to better accommodate fans wishing to attend a day full of SFA athletic events on Saturday, Nov. 9, the SFA football team has pushed back the start time of its 2019 home finale to 4:00 p.m. that day.
Originally scheduled to take in Southland Conference adversary Incarnate Word at 3:00 p.m., it was agreed that the game could begin at 4:00 p.m. Both SFA's men's and women's basketball teams are also in action on Nacogdoches that day, giving fans the opportunity to spend a day filled with SFA athletic events.
Women's basketball gets things going that day with an 11:00 a.m. showdown with Alcorn State before the men's basketball squad takes the floor of William R. Johnson Coliseum for a 1:30 p.m. tip-off against MEAC adversary North Carolina Central. The day will wrap up with SFA facing off against Incarnate Word at 4:00 p.m. in a game which will signify the 'Jacks' final home contest of 2019 and will serve as the 2019 Football Reunion date as well as senior day.
