Weeks of Welcome Back the 'Jacks Fan Fest Coincides with Wednesday's Game against ACU

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In anticipation of the SFA men's basketball team's Southland Conference matchup against Abilene Christian on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. inside William R. Johnson Coliseum, SFA athletics has announced a number of fan engagement initiatives that will take place prior to and during the tilt between the 'Jacks and Wildcats.
Wednesday evening's game, which is sponsored by Tipton Ford, also serves as SFA's Weeks of Welcome Back the 'Jacks tilt as classes at SFA resumed Tuesday. Prior to the game, Wednesday's feature event will be the Fan Fest that takes place from 2:00-4:30 p.m. on East College Street directly outside the main entrance of William R. Johnson Coliseum.
Below is a gameday timeline that details each of the events taking place that are centered around Wednesday's pivotal Southland Conference clash. In addition to the listing of events, a map has also been provided below to outline the locations of these events.
4:00 p.m. | East College Street closes to traffic and opens for fans to tailgate
4:00-6:30 p.m. | Fans have the opportunity to tailgate in the designated tailgating area (see map below)
5:00-6:30 p.m. | SFA Weeks of Welcome arrives:
• Free food samples courtesy of local restaurants
• Free t-shirts
• R&K Distributors will be set up at Fan Fest
• Inflatables
• Tailgate games
• Miniature basketball court
• DJ courtesy of Complete Weddings + Events
6:30 p.m. | SFA tips off against Abilene Christian on ESPN+
