Walker helped The Dunham School claim LHSAA Division III state title in March of 2018
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin men's basketball head coach Kyle Keller completed the 'Jacks signing class for the 2018-19 academic year Friday by announcing the addition of Baton Rouge, La., native Oddyst Walker who inked a National Letter of Intent to suit up for SFA this coming fall.
"We are so excited to announce the addition of Oddyst to the Lumberjack family," remarked Keller. "To be able to add a quality person and player who will help our team immediately this late in the signing period is a true credit to the members of our coaching staff and their collective ability to locate high-level players at any time."

Though he only suited up for The Dunham School for his senior season of prep deployment, the shooting guard made the most of his opportunity by guiding the Tigers to the LHSAA Division III state title in March of 2018.
Among the accolades picked up by the high-flying Walker were an LSWA 2A All-State Second Team nod as well as District 8-2A First Team and District 8-2A Co-MVP laurels. The first player from the Pelican State on the 'Jacks' roster since 2012-13, Walker pumped in points at a rate of 19.2 per game as a senior and scored 10 third-quarter points in the Tigers' state championship tilt against Episcopal to help The Dunham School claim its first state crown in two decades.
Before suiting up for The Dunham School, Walker sported a Parkview Baptist uniform and also plied his basketball craft for the Louisiana Future AAU squad.
What they're saying about Walker
Kyle Keller | Head Coach | SFA | "We believe Oddyst will make a positive impact on our program quickly as he is a tremendous athlete who has proven that he can score in a variety of ways. We're also excited for our fans who will have the chance to watch Oddyst impact Lumberjack basketball well into the future."
Jonathan Pixley | Head Coach | The Dunham School | "Oddyst is the hungriest player I've ever had the good fortune of coaching. While he is a very talented athlete with all the skills necessary to succeed, his biggest strength is his competitive drive. He was our fiercest competitor in practice drills, and this translated to the game seamlessly. I can't wait to see him use all of this at SFA."
Titus Randall | Head Coach | LouisianaFuture AAU | "Oddyst is a great, talented basketball player but a better person. He never stops working hard and never stops believing in himself so he can accomplish his goals. SFA is getting a great person and a great student who understands what he needs to do. Oddyst has been preparing over the last three years for this. SFA is getting somebody who's ready to come in, play his part and do his part and understand about winning and being successful in life and basketball."
