THE FIRST SERVE
• Hoping to string together consecutive wins for the first time in 2018, the Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team heads to Alexandria, La., Friday where it will take part in its final non-conference match of the season. At 2:00 p.m., the Ladyjacks take on LSU-Alexandria at the LSU-Alexandria Tennis Courts.
• Wednesday afternoon, SFA secured a 6-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Texarkana, Texas, which represented the Ladyacks' first shutout victory win since January 22, 2016. That day, SFA bested Prairie View A&M by a 7-0 tally at the Schlief Tennis Complex in Nacogdoches.
• Each of SFA's six singles wins against the Golden Lions Tuesday afternoon were of the 6-0, 6-0 variety.
• Sophomore Darinka Tiboldi is one win away from reaching 10 singles wins in 2018. Both she and Nida Kamal have won two singles matches in a row - the longest active singles winning streak on the team - while Tiboldi leads the team in singles wins with nine. Together, Tiboldi and Kamal have claimed a team-high six of the Ladyjacks' 16 doubles victories in 2018.
• Kaja Ljubic needs one more singles triumph to bring her singles record back to .500. Ljubic is 8-9 in singles action with those eight wins representing the second-most on the team.
