SFA Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA South Central Regional

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin cross country teams concluded their season at the 2018 NCAA South Central Regional meet on Friday in College Station. The men's side raced to an 11^thplace finish overall with 264 points, while the women placed 13^thoverall with 353 points.

Kelsey Ramirez was the top overall finisher for the 'Jacks in either race, placing 27^thon the women's side with a time of 21:39.8. Awet Beraki ran to a 34^thplace finish on the men's side with a time of 33:02.0, followed closely by Titus Kiplagat in 38^thwith a mark of 33:05.3.

Rounding out the women's finishers for SFA were Taryn Surratt in 45^th(22:10.3), Claire Crone in 80^th(22:53.3), Carolyn Evans in 88^th(23:00.4) and Alexis Antkowiak in 133^rd(24:31.5). For SFA on the men's side, Grant Tiff placed 55^thoverall with a mark of 33:33.5, followed by Erick Rotich in 61^stwith a time of 33:40.1 and Pedro Flores in 89^thwith a mark of 34:26.5.
