THE STARTING FIVE
• Following a one-week break between games, the SFA men's basketball team returns home to William R. Johnson Coliseum Tuesday night and welcomes first-time and MAAC foe Marist to Nacogdoches, Texas, for the first of two campus site game in the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic.
• SFA's first matchup against the Red Foxes will be carried nationwide on ESPN+ and the ESPN app with longtime SFA play-by-play man Rob Meyers on the call. Meyers' call of the game can also be heard over the airwaves on Q107.7 FM in the Nacogdoches area and nationwide via the TuneIn app.
• This in the third time in program history that the 'Jacks will take on an adversary from the MAAC but its first showdown against a MAAC adversary in Nacogdoches, Texas. SFA has previously
faced the MAAC's Siena on two occasions and is 0-2 against the Saints. Both of those games occurred in neutral-site venues with the first coming in Boise, Idaho (a 78-63 SFA loss on Nov. 27, 1993) and the second in Ames, Iowa (a 72-64 SFA setback on Dec. 5, 1996).
• Two of the eight teams who are taking part in the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic will be doing battle Tuesday night in Nacogdoches. The eight-team field is comprised of Albany, Buffalo, Dartmouth, LIU Brooklyn, Marist, Milwaukee, San Francisco and SFA.
• Senior guard Shannon Bogues continues to lead the Southland Conference with an assists per game average of 5.3. The Killeen, Texas, product ranks 63rd nationally in assists per game, too, as he has taken over point guard duties due to injuries to Aaron Augustin and John Comeaux.

• In the midst of an eight-game stretch away from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., (which ties a single-season record for consecutive road games for an NCAA Division I institution), Marist is hoping to move to .500 when it takes on SFA.
• Brian Parker leads the Red Foxes into William R. Johnson Coliseum and has already been named the MAAC Player of the Week one time in 2018-19. The senior guard leads Marist in both scoring (21.0 points per game), rebounding (6.7 per game) and assists (3.0 per game).
• In addition to Parker, Ryan Funk (13.0 points per game) and David Knudsen (10.3 points per fame) also average double-digits for the Red Foxes who have a team shooting split of .482/.417/.583.
• Parker leads the MAAC in both free throw attempts (33) and free throws made (20) through the first three games of the regular season.
COMING UP NEXT
• Before heading out on their first regular season international trip in program history, the 'Jacks will take on in-state and NCAA Division II adversary St. Edward's inside William R. Johnson Coliseum at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The tilt between the 'Jacks and Hilltoppers is the second campus site game of SFA's four in the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic and will go down in the record books as an exhibition game for St. Edward's.
