Ladyjacks Soccer Unveils 2018 Spring Schedule

SFA will play three home games and three road games during the spring slate
NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin women's soccer head coach Wally Crittenden announced on Wednesday the six games that will make up the 2018 spring schedule for the team after a successful campaign this fall. The Ladyjacks will play a total of six games across three months, with one match in February, two in March and three in April. SFA Soccer Field will play host to three of the matches, with the other three being road games.
"To have the year we had on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community, it was special to be a part of,", said Crittenden. "However, our kids and coaches remain hungry for more. Our focus remains in competing for, and winning, championships every year. We have a great pool of players returning and we expect special things from the incoming freshman we will be signing later this month. I can't wait to get started."
SFA will open up the spring slate with a trip to San Marcos, Texas to face Texas State on February 24th at 4 p.m. From there, the 'Jacks will face UL-Lafayatte at home on March 3, before a quick turnaround sees them challenge the Mexico U-20 National Team in College Station on the 6th of March. From there, the Ladyjacks wait a month for the next spring game against Louisiana Tech in Ruston on April 7. The schedule wraps up with home contests in each of the follow Saturdays, as the Ladyjacks host Rice at 3 p.m. on April 14 and host an SFA Soccer Alumni Game on the 21st at 11:00 a.m.
