SFA Soccer Announces Spring 2017 Game Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin Soccer announced its spring slate on Monday with four play dates on the calendar for this semester.
“We are really excited about this spring schedule and the opportunity to take the field against 3 great teams to measure ourselves and help put a plan in place to improve as we head into a 2017 season with very high expectations,” said head coach Wally Crittenden. “This returning group will have the opportunity to get the 2017 season headed in the right direction this spring with their commitment to high competitive standards in training and in match play. With the challenges that await this group in the next couple of months, I have no doubt we will be in a great position to welcome our new players in August with a good plan of who we are going to be in the fall.”
The spring season kicks off on Friday, March 3, as the Ladyjacks host Louisiana-Monroe for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. Following Spring Break, SFA welcomes Louisiana Tech to Nacogdoches on Sunday, March 26, for a 1:00 p.m. start. Following Louisiana Tech, SFA will head to College Station for its only road game this semester where the Ladyjacks will face Texas AM on Sunday, April 2, at 1:00 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will then host its Annual Spring Alumni Game on Saturday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m. This event will feature a match between current and former Ladyjacks as a part of a day filled with activities leading up to the Annual Spring Football Game.
All spring matches are free to the public.
