2016 SFA Soccer Spring Schedule
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Fresh off winning its fifth straight Southland Conference regular season title in 2015, the Stephen F. Austin women's soccer team is hard at work preparing for the 2016 campaign. To get ready for the fall season, which will begin in August, the Ladyjacks have scheduled five spring matches ranging from February to April.
The `Jacks will first head to Monroe, Louisiana for an exhibition match against ULM on Saturday, Feb. 27 starting at 3:00 p.m. The Warhawks and Ladyjacks played a competitive contest at SFA Soccer Field last fall with SFA prevailing 1-0 thanks to a Rachel Owens goal in the fourth minute.
The following Saturday on March 5, the Ladyjacks will get two games out of a short trip to Dallas. A matchup with Tulsa will start the day at 10:00 a.m. before SFA squares off with Louisiana-Lafayette at 12:45 p.m. Both games will be played at Moneygram Park.
The Ladyjacks will conclude their spring slate at home, hosting Rice at SFA Soccer Field on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. The annual SFA alumni game will follow on Saturday, April 16 with an 11:00 a.m. start time.
