NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Southland Conference today announced that Stephen F. Austin’s game at Central Arkansas on Saturday, November 7th, will be broadcast on the American Sports Network. Kickoff has been moved up 30 minutes as the Lumberjacks and Bears will kick at 2:30 p.m. to accommodate television.
The game at UCA marks the second appearance for SFA on the American Sports Network this season as 10 of SFA’s 11 games are now scheduled for television and broadcast appearances. The ‘Jacks played on ASN at Abilene Christian with at least six games on ESPN3, one on FOX Sports One and another on FOX College Sports.
SFA’s trip to Conway will be more than just a key Southland Conference battle as it marks head coach Clint Conque’s return to Estes Stadium after coaching the Bears for 14 seasons. Conque compiled a 105-59 record at Central Arkansas, ranking second all-time for coaching victories among Arkansas collegiate football coaches.
Following its bye week, SFA prepares for its 2015 Homecoming festivities this week in Nacogdoches, capped by the Lumberjacks’ game against Incarnate Word this Saturday at Homer Bryce Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. and will stream worldwide at ESPN3.com and through the WatchESPN app.
