
Three Ladyjacks Named All-Central Region

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack trio of seniors Zuri Prince, Chelsea Raymond and Megan Dunnigan, have been named to the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-Central Region teams, announced on Wednesday.
Coaches in the NSCAA’s Central Region (consisting of the Big 12, Conference USA, Southland and SWAC schools) voted one SFA player to each of the three teams, as Prince was a first team midfield, Raymond was a second team forward and Dunnigan was a third team defender. The all-region honor is the third of Raymond’s career, second for Dunnigan and first for Prince.
Prince, the 2014 Southland Conference Player of the Year, finished the season leading the league with six game-winning goals and five in conference play. The native of Beaumont, Texas, also finished second in the SLC points (26), tied for second in goals (10), tied for third in shots (57) and fourth in assists (6).
Raymond, a four-time first team All-SLC selection, led the conference in shots, also tied for second in game-winning goals (4), third in points (23), tied for fourth in goals (9) and tied for fifth in assists (5). The native of Irving, Texas, closed her career as the program’s all-time record holder in points (115), goals (49) and shots (309).
Dunnigan captained one of the nation’s top-ranked defensive units, finishing the season sixth in shutout percentage (0.650), also ranking atop the SLC in goals allowed (0.60), goals against average (0.59) and shutouts (13). The native of Round Rock, Texas, scored three goals and recorded one assist for seven total points.
