
Glick Named Second Team Capital One Academic All-America

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Senior Morgan Glick was named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Women’s Soccer Second Team announced the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Tuesday.
The academic All-American honor is the first of Glick’s career and comes after she was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 15 first team back on Thursday, Oct. 30. The academic All-America honor is also the first for the Stephen F. Austin women’s soccer program since Kylie Louw garnered second team honors in 2012.
Glick, who has posted a 3.83 GPA in kinesiology with a minor in biology, was a steady presence for the Ladyjacks in goal this season. Starting 18 matches in the net, the native of Boerne, Texas, posted a 14-3-1 record with 12 shutouts (eight solo, four combined) across 1,572 minutes. Glick also posted a 0.57 goals against average and a .884 save percentage, making 76 saves across 201 shots faced across the season.
Glick was also named first team All-Southland Conference at the conclusion of the regular season.
