Ladyjack Academic Shootout Set For March 7

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team has scheduled the annual Academic Shootout for Thursday, March 7, when it hosts Sam Houston State at the William R. Johnson Coliseum at 6 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will have a table set up at the front gate of the Coliseum where fans can make pledges for a certain amount or on a per point basis.
The funds raised from the Academic Shootout goes to help pay for the Ladyjacks' summer school classes and fifth year student scholarships through the Purple Pride Fast Break Booster Club.
The Ladyjacks are currently 11-15 this season and 6-9 in conference play and will host Northwestern State this Saturday at 6 p.m., followed by the Sam Houston St. game on March 7 at 6 p.m.
