Bruno Receives FCS National Weekly Honor

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin sophomore punter Nick Bruno was named an FCS College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention Performer of the Week Sunday evening.
Bruno, a native of Rowlett, Texas (Rowlett HS), punted five times for a total of 247 yards (49.4 yards per punt) in SFA's loss at Southeastern Louisiana. Bruno finished the game with a 58-yard long, which was downed at the opposing 17-yard line. Two punts resulted in fair catches, while the others were downed with no return yards.
The Lumberjacks next face Nicholls State at home on Oct. 19 for homecoming.
