Ladyjack Golf Team Takes Part in MLK Service Day

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Members of the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team spent their Martin Luther King Day giving back to the community. Seniors Allison Flake and Chelsea Simmons, and freshman Sydney Reed took part in the MLK Service Day in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity last Monday.
"Our golfers are very proud of Nacogdoches, and we've always received great support from the community," said head coach Trey Schroeder. "They are always looking for opportunities to say thank you, and this is a way they could give back to community."
The trio spent their day going to different communities picking up trash. The three golfers also helped paint houses in the area.
