FOR STARTERS: The Ladyjacks wrap up their quick two-game homestand with a 4 p.m. contest against Nicholls State on Saturday. SFA is 39-4 all-time versus the Colonels, which includes a 66-57 victory in last year’s semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament.
LAST TIME OUT: Four Ladyjacks scored in double-figures and SFA shot a season-high 50 percent from the field in a start-to-finish 80-38 victory over the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions Thursday evening at William R. Johnson Coliseum. The Ladyjacks (7-10, 2-4), who tied their season-high in points, moved to 5-2 on the season when they have three or more players score in double-figures.

PORSHA'S SQUEAKY CLEAN NIGHT: Sophomore center Porsha Roberts is coming off the best shooting performance in a single-game in SFA history (min. 5 attempts). The reigning SLC Freshman of the Year was a perfect 9-of-9 from the field, surpassing performances of Michelle Hagan (7-of-7, 2001), Natalie Kizzee (5-of-5, 2007) and Amina Sawyer (5-of-5, 2009).
BENCH PRODUCTION: The Ladyjacks have now won the bench scoring comparison in 14 of the past 17 games after outscoring SLU, 33-5.
THE BEST IN TEXAS: SFA is the 5th winningest school in NCAA history with a record of 934-395.
