Attaway Receives More Week One Honors

Stephen F. Austin junior quarterback Brady Attaway has been named Beyond Sports College Network FCS Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 'Jacks week one victory.
Attaway completed 21 passes for 354 yards and three touchdowns in SFA's season-opening win over Southwestern Oklahoma. The victory extended the team's win streak to six consecutive games.
The Lumberjacks return to action Saturday when they travel to Dallas, Texas, to take on SMU (0-1). It will be 'Jacks second trip to SMU since 2009 when they came up just short of the upset. Saturday's game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. from Ford Stadium.
