Roberson Named FCS Receiver of the Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Senior receiver Cordell Roberson has been named Beyond College Sports FCS Receiver of the Week announced publication officials Monday afternoon.
The Jefferson, Texas native, recorded one of the best games of his Stephen F. Austin career against No. 3 Montana State. Jefferson hauled in 10 passes for a career-high 163 yards and a touchdown in the near upset of the nation's third-ranked team. The touchdown was a pass in the middle of the field that Roberson took 75 yards for the score, the second-longest reception of his career.
It was the second time this season that Roberson has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in a game, and he is now one touchdown reception shy of tying the school and Southland Conference's all-time record.
Roberson also received the College Sports Madness Southland Conference Player of the Week award for his performance on the field.
