
SFA Ranked 10th In Initial NSCAA Central Poll

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In 2011 the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks soccer team appeared just once in the NSCAA Top 10 Central Poll, that coming at the end of the regular season. On Tuesday, just one week into the 2012 season, SFA has already caught the eyes of the experts and comes in at No. 10 in the initial NSCAA Central Poll.
The Ladyjacks have gotten off to a roaring start, defeating the University of Houston 2-0 in the season-opener in Nacogdoches, followed by an 8-0 road victory at Jackson State on Sunday.
SFA will be back in action this weekend when they take part in the TCU Invitational, beginning Friday against Texas Tech at 5 p.m. followed by a match against host TCU Sunday 1:30 p.m.
