
Lumberjack Duo Lands on Preseason Watch List

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Senior wide outs Gralyn Crawford and Cordell Roberson have been named to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Watch List announced CFPA officials Monday morning. The watch list includes 37 receivers from across the nation, but only three in the Southland Conference.
Both former All-Americans and All-SLC selections, the two enter their senior years looking to rewrite the SFA records books. Crawford is already the school's all-time leader with 197 receptions, while Roberson is seventh all-time with 144 career catches. Crawford is currently second all-time in all-purpose yards, fifth in receiving yards and tied for eight in touchdowns. Roberson is second all-time in program history with 29 touchdown grabs, and is seventh in receiving yards.
Crawford hauled in 72 catches for 780 yards and seven touchdowns last year, while Roberson was second on the team recording 63 receptions for 794 yards and nine scores. In his career, Crawford has caught 197 passes for 2,546 yards, while Roberson has made 144 grabs for 2,185 yards.
