
Ladyjack Signee Named McDonald's All-American Nominee

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -Freshly inked Stephen F. Austin signee LaNesha Middleton was selected a 2012 McDonald's All-American Nominee on Wednesday.
Middleton, a 5'10 forward from Stillwater, Okla. (Stillwater HS), was co-MVP of the Centennial Conference and a honorable-mention, all-state selection by the Tulsa World after her junior season. Middleton was also named the Bristow Invitational MVP earlier this season.
The 2012 McDonald’s All American Game, will take place on March 28 and for a second consecutive year will be at Chicago’s United Center. The 24 boys and 24 girls to participate in the 2012 Games will be revealed during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show, airing February 9 at 5 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
Six-hundred players, which includes men and women, from across the country were nominated for the 2012 McDonald’s All American Games, with Iowa maintaining the highest number of nominees (77), followed by Texas (69), Washington (36), Tennessee (32) and Georgia (31). Players were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.
