- Junior Bryson Myles has established himself as not only one of the best in the SLC, but in the nation with the numbers he has put up this season. Myles finished the weekend with 42 stolen bases and 81 hits, both marks that rank him atop the SLC. His 42 swipes also lead the nation, and has made Myles the first SLC player since 1997 to swipe 40 bags in a season. He is also on pace to become the first SLC player since 1995, and only the second all-time, to lead the league in hits and steals in the same season.
- SFA has not allowed a home run at Jaycees Field this season, spanning 236.0 innings on its home turf. Conversely, SFA has hit 21 of its 28 homers on the year away from Jaycees Field.
- The 'Jacks are just 2-7 against Dallas Baptist all-time with each game having come since the 2006 season, and both wins coming in 2007. SFA has dropped each of the past four meetings with the Patriots, including a 24-11 decision at Patriot Field last year.
- SFA is still chasing the all-time wins mark in program history, and is just four wins shy of the 34 victories that were posted in both 2010 and 1984.
